Redirect the shopper to a payment page hosted by Straumur. The quickest integration, and no card data touches your systems.

Your first test payment
Four steps, and you can do them in an afternoon:
- Set up your test account. Email us for a test agreement and a portal login. Nothing in the test environment moves money.
- Create an API key in the test portal and copy the Terminal Identifier for the solution you are building.
- Create a Hosted Checkout and pay with a test card. Even if you end up on Components or the API, this is the fastest way to see a payment go through.
- Receive the Authorization webhook. Register your endpoint in Webhook configuration; the webhook, not the shopper's return to your site, is the reliable signal that a payment happened.
When that works, the rest is reference: modifications after the payment, the webhook events you will receive, and the go-live checklist when you are ready.
