Contract Linked Webhook Event

A new Contract Linked webhook event is now available. This event fires whenever a merchant contract is linked to a partner contract, letting partners react to merchants joining their agreement.

What's included​

The ContractLinked event provides:

  • The partnerContractNumber, ssn, merchantNumber, and contractNumber identifying the link
  • A terminals array describing every terminal currently active on the contract at the time of linking — each entry includes mid, tid, terminalIdentifier, isEcom, store address details, mcc, shopperStatement, and terminalType

Because a single contract can have multiple terminals, one event can describe one or more terminals at once. The terminals array may be empty when no terminals exist yet.

HMAC signature​

The HMAC signature for ContractLinked is calculated over PartnerContractNumber, Ssn, MerchantNumber, ContractNumber only — per-terminal fields are part of the payload but not the signature.
